Dutch artist Jeroen van der Most, or shorthand Most, has created art with data, algorithms, and AI since 2010. His work explores the creative possibilities of new technologies, but above all rethinks technology itself: Tech like AI is often used to exploit nature. In the art of Most however, AI can breed deeper relationships with nature. And where regular online technologies are aimed at keeping us in the now and clicking and buying instantly. It’s a different AI in his art that connects us to beauty from long lost pasts and distant futures. Abstract

EXHIBITS His art to date was obtained by worldwide collectors and New Zealand’s national museum Te Papa. It has been exhibited at locations as ZKM Karlsruhe, CES Las Vegas, Dutch Design Week, Museum De Lakenhal, Centre des Arts Enghien les Bains, Amsterdam KunstRai, and AAF Hong Kong. RESIDENCIES AND COMMISSIONS He creates artworks autonomously, but also worked in artist residencies for institutions like Technical University Delft and the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Currently he works on an art installation about the food industry as a winner of a residency in the European Commission’s S+T+ARTS program. Next to that, he did commissioned art projects for organizations like NVIDIA, Sogeti, Amnesty International, the Jumbo-Visma cycling team, NH hotels, and Nike - Footlocker.
